This is the story of how we tried to get an obsession out of our heads by walking 39 kilometers.

For too long, we had been dragging along this idea of walking to the village behind our mountains. In April, we decided it was time to get it out of our heads.

Love for the Land, Love for the Giongo Valley

We love our valley and its countless trails. The route unfolded across the main peaks behind our home: Canto Alto, Canto Basso, Monte Filaressa, Il Costone, Monte di Nese, and more.

A journey that made us rediscover the effort and beauty of walking.

Because, as with all the best adventures, it’s not the destination that matters but the journey, so we made ours as long as possible.
